PLASTIC & SYNTHETIC MATERIALS
Plastic is the most common material for producing product, covering almost every industry, and is embraced by designers for its several advantages such as its light weight, color diversity and plasticity. Plastics are a versatile of materials with hundreds of options, each with their own specific mechanical properties. BLL’s portfolio incorporates a wide range of materials and the service for further processing together with our experience in the field, we provide very competitive pricing and service to the market.
Injection molding is the most common method in manufacturing plastic parts, and is ideal for producing high volumes of same object. The size of component we provide ranges from 0.5 g to 3,000 g, which covers most of domestic appliances’ requirements. The plastic injection materials we provide includes:
Silicone Rubber Injection
Silicone rubber is also commonly used in different appliances utilizing it’s several advantages such as extreme temperature resistance (-180ºF to 600ºF (-118ºC to 316ºC), oxidation resistance, superior resistance to many chemicals and odorless which make it ideal for medical or food applications. A list of what we have provided for customers:
Backalite is a thermosetting phenol formaldehyde resin, formed from a condensation reaction of phenol with formaldehyde. It has a number of important properties, such as molded very quickly which decrease production time, and is resistant to heat, scratches, and destructive solvents. It is also resistant to electricity and with low conductivity. These characteristics make it especially suitable for components require low conductivity for heat and electric like appliance’s handle or cover.
Transparent Material Injection
Injecting plastic parts with a transparent appearance can be challenging. It requires close control of mold temperature, holding time, and demolding angle to avoid color change or scratches on the surface.
We also have access to other plastic materials that are sold in standard specification, with the ability to conduct mechanical processing such as CNC or bending to form the shape that fits customer’s demand.
